Sea birds focuses on my absolute pleasure in watching these strange creatures. 

 

Since moving to the coast, I am amazed at how localised these creatures are, and how specialist they are for their environments – they are in a coastal unison with their landscape, becoming enamoured by their varying personalities and wanted to capture them in drawings.

 

They are stunning and majestic birds with striking physical characteristics, and my co-existence with these wild birds on the coastline of our shared home has inspired a growing series of work surrounding them.
